The Bonduel High School girls cross-country team won a Central Wisconsin Conference meet after posting the top score at the Charger Invitational on a cool and overcast Sept. 8 evening in Wittenberg.
Bonduel earned a team score of 24, comfortably ahead of second-place Rosholt (39).
The team was led by three top-10 finishes and had its fourth- and fifth-fastest runners place inside the top 15.
Kara Troxel was the team’s top finisher, placing second in 21 minutes, 19 seconds. Ashlyn Kurey wasn’t far behind, finishing fourth in 21:50.5.
