The area's 13 girls basketball teams learned their postseason fates when the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association released brackets on Feb. 13.
For the first time ever, seeding was conducted electronically. According to the WIAA seeding procedures, the following factors were used to determine the seeds:
• own winning percentage
• opponents’ winning percentage
• opponents’ opponent’s winning percentage
• defeated opponents’ winning percentage
• defeated opponents’ opponent’s winning percentage
