Bonduel 9

Hofa Park 0

Bonduel blanked Hofa Park on May 22 in Hofa Park.

Chase Reinke tossed a two-hit shutout and struck out 11 batters to lead Bonduel to victory.

Reinke also scored three runs in the game. Parker Dorn drove in two runs for the Broncos.

Waupaca 19

Nichols 1

Waupaca topped Nichols on May 20 in Waupaca. The Lakeman had eight hits and walked 18 times.

Waupaca 10

Pulaski 5

Waupaca doubled up Pulaski on May 15.

Wes Austin drove in three runs for Waupaca, while Luke Behm and Walker Smith added two RBIs each. Jason Ellie led the team with four hits, while Johnny Popham had three.

Cam Seidl pitched four innings for Waupaca, striking out six. Jim Nighbor got the win after working three innings, while Ryan Makuski got six outs.

Jason Infusio and Hunter Larson hit homers for Pulaski.

Cecil 4

Hunter Larson hit a walk-off home run to lift Pulaski past Cecil on May 8 in Pulaski. Larson finished with three hits.

Garrett Kaczrowski, Kendall Kaczrowski and Cody Pangrazzi pitched for Pulaski, with Pangrazzi earning the win after tossing two innings.

Cole Anderson took the loss for Cecil after working an inning. Isaac Boldt started and struck out eight batters across seven innings. Jake Sager, Grant Bouche and Garrett Engel each had two hits for the Mudhens.

Waupaca wins Dairyland League title over Hofa Park

The Waupaca Lakemen claimed a second straight Dairyland League title after taking down Hofa Park 7-3 on Aug. 29 in Waupaca.

Waupaca racked up 11 hits in the contest and scored runs in five different innings. Five Hofa Park errors also helped out the Lakemen.

Ryan Makuski, Luke Behm and Walker Smith all finished with two hits for Waupaca, with Makuski, Behm, Wes Austin, Jason Ellie and Brenden Canterbury all driving in a run each. Behm and Johnny Popham scored two runs each.

Canterbury stole three bases, while Behm had two and Smith one.

Waupaca 1

Bonduel 0

Waupaca knocked off Bonduel on Aug. 22 in Waupaca in a Dairyland League semifinal playoff contest.

Cam Seidl pitched all nine innings for Waupaca, striking out 15 batters and surrendering just five hits and a walk.

Jason Ellie doubled in Jake Pankratz in the fourth inning for the game’s lone run. Pankratz had three hits and a stolen base.

Chase Reinke was dealt the loss, striking out seven batters over eight innings. Eric Gruenwald tallied two of Bonduel’s hits.

Hofa Park 4

Navarino 0

Hofa Park earned a road playoff win over Navarino on Aug. 15.

Gavin Rusch and Eli Frank combined to pitch the shutout for Hofa Park. Rusch worked the first seven innings before Rusch worked the last two frames to earn the save.

Rob Schuettpelz drove in two runs for Hofa Park, while Will Sullivan and Cole Wilcox added an RBI each. Wilcox, Schuettpelz, Sullivan and James Bornick all had two hits.

Ben Prodell had two hits for Navarino. Paul Sellner was the losing pitcher.

Bonduel 4

Navarino 3

Bonduel edged Navarino in the league’s final week of the regular season on Aug. 1 in Navarino.

Eric Guenwald hit a two-run homer for Bonduel in the seventh inning to make it a 4-0 game. Jack Reinke and J.C. Reinke had two hits each for the Broncos.

Chase Reinke pitched all nine innings to earn the win. He struck out four batters.

Hortonville 12

Bonduel 2 (7 inn.)

Hortonville used a four-run second inning and six-run fourth to ease past Bonduel on July 23 in Hortonville. The Stars’ win kept the team’s perfect season alive.

Brett Kramer drove in three runs for Hortonville, while Tommy Dugandzic was credited with two RBIs on three hits. Ty Dreier added two hits.

Colan Treml earned the win after pitching five innings. Scott Gorsuch and Mason Thiel worked an inning each.

Bonduel 11

Nichols 6 (12 inn.)

Bonduel scored five runs in the top of the 12th inning and went on for a road win over Nichols on July 18.

Luke Kostreva belted a two-run home run to put Bonduel ahead before the team tacked on three more runs. Chase Reinke drove in three runs for the Broncos, while Kostreva posted four of the team’s 12 hits and scored three runs.

Cecil 12

Shawano 2

Cecil eased to a win over Shawano on July 11 in Cecil.

Cecil scored three runs in the second inning before a six-run fourth frame blew the game open. The Mudhens had 10 hits in the game, with Noah Beilfuss, Ken Casper and Garrett Siolka tallying multiple hits on the day.

Brandon Hagel earned the win on the mound after striking out six batters over seven innings.

Brad Bartz took the loss for Shawano after working two innings. Hunter Hoffman drove in Chase Henning to give Shawano an early lead.
