Hofa Park 9

Nichols 8

Trevor Cornell delivered a bases-loaded single in the ninth inning to lift Hofa Park past Nichols on Aug. 6 in Hofa Park. Cornell also got the win on the hill after pitching the ninth.

Mason Dorn and Rob Schuettpelz each drove in two runs on three hits for Hofa Park. Cornell finished with three RBIs.

Jake DeBruin homered among his two hits and drove in two runs for Nichols.

Waupaca 7

Bonduel 0

Waupaca blanked Bonduel in an Aug. 6 matchup in Bonduel.

Bonduel 3

Hofa Park 2 (11 inn.)

Bonduel rallied past Hofa Park in extra innings on July 30 in Hofa Park. Adam Frost belted a solo home run to lead off the 11th and give the Broncos the lead.

Bonduel tied the game in the ninth when Frost scored on an error. Frost finished with two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Eric Gruenwald also had two hits.

Cecil 0

Bonduel blanked Cecil in a July 23 matchup in Cecil.

Jack Reinke earned the win on the mound, working a complete game and only allowing five hits.

Bonduel scored all six runs in the fourth inning, with a three-run home run from Luke Kostreva being the big blow in the frame. The win moved the Broncos to 9-3 in Dairyland League play.

Garrett Engel posted two hits for Cecil. Tucker Bouche took the loss on the hill, while Andrew Schroeder and Noah Beilfuss also pitched.

Cecil 2

Nichols edged Cecil in a July 16 battle in Nichols.

Mason Pautz earned the win on the hill for Nichols, striking out eight batters in a complete game effort. Jake DeBruin led the team at the plate with four hits and three RBIs.

Noah Beilfuss was tagged with the loss after pitching five innings, while Andrew Schroeder tossed three innings for Cecil. Beilfuss drove in a run on three hits at the plate.

Bonduel wins home tournament

The Bonduel Broncos won the 44th annual Bronco Invitational Tournament, which ran July 10-14 in Bonduel.

Bonduel topped the Navarino Rangers 13-3 in seven innings in the championship game on July 14.

Adam Frost homered twice and drove in six runs to power Bonduel at the plate. He was named the tournament’s most valuable player.

Jack Reinke earned the win on the mound after coming on in relief of J.C. Reinke.

Earlier in the tournament, Bonduel topped the Nichols Nitros 14-2, with Wyatt Reinke earning the win on the mound in a complete game effort.

Pulaski 5

Hofa Park scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to stun Pulaski in a July 9 battle in Hofa Park. The hosts scored the game-winning run on an error.

Mason Dorn tallied four hits and scored twice for Hofa Park. Nick Volz drove in two runs, while Robert Schuettpelz tallied two hits.

Hayden Groff earned the win in relief of Schuettpelz. Groff worked two scoreless innings, while Schuettpelz struck out six over seven frames.

Navarino 7

Bonduel 4

Navarino rallied past Bonduel in a June 30 contest in Navarino.

Mason Dingeldein tallied three hits and scored twice for Navarino. James Muchie also scored two runs.

Jacob Borchert pitched four innings for the Rangers in the win. Matt Krause worked the last five innings, striking out six and not allowing an earned run.

Chase Reinke recorded three hits and drove in two runs for Bonduel. Adam Frost drove in a pair and homered, while Jack Reinke had two hits. Reinke was dealt the loss on the hill.

Shawano 1 (7 inn.)

Bonduel cruised to a seven-inning win over Shawano on June 25 in Bonduel.

Adam Frost homered among his four hits, drove in five runs and scored three times to power Bonduel at the plate. Luke Kostreva and Eric Gruenwald drove in two runs each.

Chase Reinke earned the win on the mound, striking out six batters over seven frames.

Ashton Henning drove in a run on two hits for Shawano. He took the loss after pitching five innings, while Carson Popp also pitched.

Hortonville 5

Bonduel knocked off Hortonville in a June 18 contest in Bonduel to earn its 1,000th win in team history.

Luke Kostreva delivered the game-winning run on a walk-off fielder’s choice. Adam Frost posted four hits for Bonduel, while Kostreva, Chase Reinke and Wyatt Reinke all had two hits.

Jack Reinke got the win in relief of Chase Reinke, who pitched into the ninth inning.
