Aaron Rodgers’ new contract extension with the Green Bay Packers is now official and signed.
Ian Rapoport, an insider for NFL Network and NFL.com tweeted at 7:42 a.m. on March 15 that, “After a week of going back and forth with the #Packers, Aaron Rodgers’ complicated contract pays him $50M per year over 3 years — $150M. Plus there are two low-money option years that will be replaced.”
Tom Pelissero, a reporter for NFL Network, expanded on the deal, noting that Rodgers will get $42 million in 2022, $59.515 million in 2023 and $49.3 million in 2024.
