Chargers volleyball team has rough outing in Wrightstown

Wittenberg-Birnamwood went 2-1 at the Wrightstown Invite on Oct. 4.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood lost 2-0 to the Menasha Bluejays. Game scores were 25-17, 25-11.

The Chargers also fell 2-0 to the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs. Scores were 25-15, 25-18.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood beat the Sturgeon Bay Clippers 2-0 on game scores of 25-12, 26-24.

Wildcats soccer team loses to Foxes

Gresham/Bowler’s soccer team dropped to 0-13-1 with a 1-0 loss to the Omro Foxes on Oct. 4.

Pulaski runs over Appleton West

The rushing game has been a big reason behind the Pulaski football team’s success this season.

That trend continued Oct. 3, as the Red Raiders piled up 334 yards on 31 carries in a 55-20 Fox River Classic Conference-North win over Appleton West.

Panthers get back on winning track

Two days after dropping its first North Eastern Conference match to Freedom, the Oconto Falls volleyball team needed a win to keep pace with Luxemburg-Casco in the conference standings.

Mission accomplished.

The Panthers headed to Little Chute on Oct. 2 and returned home with a 3-0 sweep of the Mustangs.

Pulaski girls take fourth at home cross country invite

Pulaski’s girls placed fourth at the 46th annual Red Raider Invitational on Oct. 2, while Gillett was 11th among the 14 complete teams.

Maggie Gerth, of Pulaski, finished third in 18:38.3, and teammate Emerson Fabry was fifth in 18:40.2.

Addie Bruckert finished the race in 23rd, followed by Ellie Murphy in 39th, Cameran Reiss in 47th and Estella Vieaux in 81st.

Red Raiders volleyball team wins in five sets

Pulaski 3, Green Bay Notre Dame 2

The Red Raiders topped the Tritons 3-2 with games scores of 22-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 15-12 on Oct. 2.

Suring 3, Coleman 0

Suring clamped down on Coleman when it needed to as the Eagles won 3-0.

Game scores were 25-17, 25-19, 25-14.

Wild Rose 3, Tigerton 1

Pulaski, Shawano wins in soccer shutouts

The Red Raiders topped the Phantoms 1-0 in FRCC conference play Oct. 2.

Daenen Kehoe scored what turned out to be the game winning goal for Pulaski in the 14th minute. Josh Aranda assisted on the play.

The Red Raiders outshot the Phantoms 8-1 during the game but were held scoreless after the opening goal by Kehoe.
