Eugene Hischke

Eugene Hischke, 91, of Suring, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. He was born June 8, 1934, to the late Leonard and Leah Hischke.

For 67 years, Eugene hauled milk with dedication and pride, seldom taking a day off. A farmer at heart, he loved the land and enjoyed beef farming, growing pumpkins and the steady routines of rural life.

Susan A. ‘Sue’ Fliess

Susan A. “Sue” Fliess, 66, passed away at her home with her family and friends by her side Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, after a short courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Sue was born March 29, 1959, in Franklin, the daughter of the late Ralph and Patsy (Johnson) Bushey. She attended Franklin High School and graduated with the class of 1977.

Karen Marie Boettcher

Karen Marie Boettcher (Sutrick), 64, passed away Jan. 21, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, at Meadowbrook in Oconto Falls.

She was born March 6, 1961, in Oconto Falls where she spent her early life and attended Oconto Falls High School. She later moved to the Marinette and Peshtigo area where she resided for many years.

Erna Martha Rose (Ottow) Mainhardt

Gone from our sight but never from our hearts, Erna Martha Rose (Ottow) Mainhardt, 101, of Manitowoc, passed away Jan. 20 at her winter home in Green Valley, Arizona.

Erna was born in Watertown on Nov. 24, 1924, to her parents, Herman and Bertha (Boldt) Ottow. She proudly celebrated her 101st birthday this past year, a milestone that reflected her strength, resilience and joyful spirit.

Charles William ‘Bill’ Grady

Charles William “Bill” Grady, 95, passed away peacefully Jan. 17, 2026, at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.

Donald Rahn

Donald Rahn, 86, Suamico, formerly of Shawano Lake, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. The son of the late Gust and Erline (Hintz) Rahn and husband of Joyce (Bonnin) Rahn was born Nov. 12, 1939.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m.
