Yvonne M. Poirier

Yvonne Marie (nee Beauleau) (Maloney) Poirier, 86, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022. She was born June 10, 1936, in Green Bay to Gilbert and Magdeline (Kiefert) Beauleau.

Yvonne lived most of her life in the near west side Green Bay area. She worked for over 25 years at JC Penney in the Port Plaza Mall. Yvonne never drove a car, but sure could get anywhere she needed to go. She loved to go shopping with her daughter, Cindy. Yvonne enjoyed reading, she would read the Press Gazette daily along with her many books. She was known as the mayor of the Fort Howard Apartments; she looked after the tenants. Yvonne was always willing to assist any of the residents.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Laurie) Maloney, of Oconto Falls, Cindy (Paul) Laux, of Suamico, Sandi (Eddie) Hameed, of Richardson, Texas, Rick (Esther) Poirier, of Watauga, Texas, and Randy (Kim) Poirier, of Withee; grandchildren, Rebecca (Ryan) Usiak, Greg (Randi) Maloney, Holly (Mike) Shablak, Rachel (Chris) Clark, Bryan Bauer, Ayman Hameed, Amirah Hameed, Michael (Tawnie) Poirier, Christopher (Heidi) Poirier, Justin LeMere, Halie Poirier, Nicholas (Rickilyn) Poirier; great-grandchildren, Jack Usiak, Madeline Maloney, Skylar Clark, Dylan Clark, Adam Hameed, Bryan Bauer Jr., Lilith Bauer, Elias Castanon, Samantha Poirier, Nathan Poirier, Trytan Paczkowski, Sophia Poirier and Holden Poirier; great-great grandson, Jaxton Laskowski; sister, Judy (Peter) Sagen; sister-in-law, Janet Beauleau.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gilbert Beauleau Jr.; and great-grandson, Trent Maloney.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, July 25; sharing of memories to follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
