The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Executive Board announced Tuesday that the 2020 all-star game and activities were suspended.

The suspension is due to the fact that UW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater’s campuses are closed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The schools host practices for the players before three all-star games are played — this year’s games were originally set for July 18 at UW-Oshkosh’s Titan Stadium this summer.

“The WFCA will continue to monitor the situation. We will update players/parents/coaches if the restrictions are lifted before a final decision is made,” stated the WFCA in a press release.

Shawano’s Brayden Dickelman, Gillett’s Logan Block and Suring’s Logan Stuart and Chad McVeigh are on all-star rosters.

Dickelman was set to play in the large school game as a member of the North roster. Block, Stuart and McVeigh are all on the South roster that will compete in the 8-player game.
