Vets 4 Vets spaghetti dinner is takeout this year

COVID concerns rule out sit-down dinner

Vets 4 Vets of Northeast Wisconsin is hosting its 18th annual Veterans Spaghetti Dinner as a “Take Out Only” event from 3-6 p.m. Nov. 11 at Red Maple Country Club, 501 Golf Course Road, Suring.

Because of the current COVID-19 situation, the group is not planning to offer a sit-down dinner this year. All spaghetti dinners will be packaged for pickup only at a drive-through lane at Red Maple.

All veterans who bring in their invitation post card will be eligible to win grocery gift certificates. Veterans and active military who do not have an invitation are welcome for the takeout spaghetti, meatball, and bread dinner and can fill out a postcard to be eligible for the grocery gift certificates; please bring military ID or proof of military service if possible.

There will be no need to get out of the vehicle; volunteers will fill your dinner order and take postcard invitations curbside. As always, the spaghetti dinner is free for veterans – guests and general public will be served for $7 per person.

Vets 4 Vets of Northeast Wisconsin is a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to “foster a sense of support, pride, and enthusiasm, among veterans in Northeast Wisconsin.
