VOLLEYBALL

Crivitz 3

Gillett 0

Gillett came up on the wrong end of a Marinette & Oconto Conference home match against Crivitz on Tuesday. Crivitz won by scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Karissa Schaal finished with 14 digs and 11 attack kills to lead Gillett, while Sophie Horsens had five attack kills, five assists and three digs.

Emily Umentum tallied five assists and four digs for the Tigers, while Emelie Horsens had six digs. Naomi Anker added five digs.

Niagara 3

Suring 0

Suring dropped a M&O road match to Niagara on Tuesday. Niagara won by scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-15.

Grace Fisher finished with four attack kills, six digs and three aces to lead Suring on the court. Cher Whiting tallied five assists and three digs, while Kate Mahoney had four digs and three assists.

Jaden Bubolz and Kelsey Smith each chipped in four digs for the Eagles. Stephanie Huth had three digs and three total kills.

GIRLS GOLF

Darby leads Panthers at match

Danielle Darby posted a nine-hole round of 51 to lead Oconto Falls at a North Eastern Conference match on Tuesday at River Island Golf Course.

Oconto Falls earned a team score of 227, while Freedom tallied a 212.

Kaylee Sadowski and Morgan Blazek each posted rounds of 58 for the Panthers, while Kearra Champeau fired a 60 and Grace Lemorande a 61 to fill out the five-golfer team.

CROSS-COUNTRY

Lena boys second, girls third at invitational

Lena teams turned in top-three finishes at the Menominee Indian Eagle Invitational on Tuesday in Keshena. The boys earned a team score of 78 to take second, while the girls posted a 72 to come in third.

Cody Dellise (19 minutes, 55.77 seconds) took 11th and Kadin Baxter (20:01.12) 12th to lead the Lena boys. Norman Aguilar (20:50.6), Dylan Comins (20:58.44) and Reed Hosking (23:02.11) capped the team score.

Alexis Misco (27:08.54) took 16th and Kennedy Marquardt (27:32.95) 19th to pace the Lena girls. Megan Shallow (27:56.69), Samara VanArk (32:46.64) and Ciara Urbanek (36:31.01) filled out the team.

Four Suring girls also competed in the invitational. Olivia Noack (23:45.62) took fourth, while Hailey Thomson (24:28.67) took seventh. Chantelle VandenElzen (26:36.69) and Madison Vandevelde (27:26.16) also ran for the Eagles.
