Gillett 63

STAA 22

Gillett cruised to a Marinette & Oconto Conference victory over St. Thomas Aquinas Academy on Jan. 15 in Gillett.

Aubrey DeBauch scored 22 points to power Gillett, converting 10 field goals. Ryann Wagner added 10 points, while Macy Franti had seven.

All 10 Gillett players scored in the contest.

Suring 52

Gresham 46

Suring scratched out a nonconference win over Gresham on Jan. 15 in Gresham.

Paige Krueger recorded 20 points, 12 rebounds, nine blocks and three steals to lead Suring. Kylee Stelzer added 10 points, while Kate Mahoney had eight points, five rebounds and four assists.

MacKenzie Bailey pulled down nine rebounds for the Eagles. Kelsey Smith tallied five rebounds and three assists.

"We got into some foul trouble, but the girls continued to play hard and hold on to the lead," said Suring coach Mitchell Woulf. "This shows a lot about us. Being able to win games like this is excellent experience for us going forward."
