GIRLS BASKETBALL

Gillett 69

St. Thomas Aquinas Academy 35

Gillett eased to a Marinette & Oconto Conference victory over St. Thomas Aquinas Academy on Tuesday in Gillett.

Karissa Schaal powered Gillett with 26 points, while Aubrey DeBauch chipped in 14 points. Camryn Long posted eight points.

Gillett outscored STAA 37-12 in the first half.

Suring 59

Goodman/Pembine 5

Suring cruised to a nonconference win over Goodman/Pembine on Tuesday in Suring.

Kylee Stelzer led a balanced Suring attack with 14 points. She also tallied eight steals, seven rebounds and four assists.

Paige Krueger tallied 10 points, while Macyn Garrigan contributed eight points and five rebounds. All 12 Suring players scored in the contest.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Coleman 56

Oconto Falls 55

Oconto Falls' second-half rally came up just short in a nonconference clash with Coleman on Tuesday in Oconto Falls.

Oconto Falls' Mitchell Manns hit a go-ahead jumper with 10 seconds left, but Coleman hit two free throws with 0.7 seconds left to win it.

Manns led the Panthers with 16 points, while Joey Walters and Jarod Parsons each added eight. Braden Uelmen chipped in seven points.
