Suring man dies in one-vehicle rollover

A Suring area man was killed Sunday night in a one-vehicle crash northeast of the village.

Oconto County Sheriff Todd Skarban said deputies were called around 9:41 p.m. to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover along County Road Z just north of Golf Course Road in the town of Maple Valley.

Zachary R. Zahn, 44, who was the lone occupant, died of injuries sustained in the crash, Skarban said.

The Oconto County Sheriff’s Department and Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office continue the investigation. The Gillett Area Ambulance Service and Suring Fire Department also assisted. The name of the victim will be released at a later date.
