Sharon S. Broetzman

Sharon S. Broetzman, age 83, of Pittsburg, California, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022. Sharon was born May 25, 1939, to the late Gust and Pearl Broetzman on a farm in Hickory Corners, Wisconsin. She attended Hickory Grade School and graduated from Suring High School. Following graduation, Sharon served in the Armed Forces from 1958 to 1962 as a medic. Her other careers included photography and a hair dresser. Sharon loved traveling to Florida and Belize and collecting sea shells. She loved horse races and watching her horses race. Sharon also loved the Green Bay Packers. She had a great sense of humor and loved interacting with people.

Sharon is survived by her spouse, Cheryl Hauck; sister, Marion Fonder of Pewaukee; brother, Robert (Patricia) Broetzman of Hickory Corners; nieces, Vicky Garland of Green Bay, Sheila (Gary) Nelson of Eleva; nephews, James (Joan) Fonder of Illinois, Keith (Carleen) Fonder of Waukesha, Dennis Broetzman of Suring and Douglas (Marilyn) Andersen of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Hickory Cemetery with military honors. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.
