A Pulaski man is currently on the run after fleeing Shawano County sheriff’s deputies on Aug. 4.

Shawano County deputies are in search of Tracy A. Bahr, 39, after one deputy had spotted him outside of his residence on County Road F in Pulaski holding a firearm. According to Wisconsin Circuit Court Access, Bahr currently has six separate bench warrants out from Shawano County, with the first stemming from an October 2021 incident.

“We have been looking for him for quite sometime,” said Chief Deputy George Lenzner. “One of our officers saw him this morning in his front yard. When he saw the squad car, he picked up what appeared to be a gun and jumped on an ATV and took off.”

Lenzner said that it is believed that Bahr is operating a red three-wheel ATV and is wearing a red shirt.

“He may be armed,” he added.

Lenzner said that the sheriff’s department is working with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department to locate Bahr. Both parties are involved, due to Bahr being in the Pulaski area.

According to the sheriff’s department, Shawano County is also being assisted by Menominee County, using drones in the area to find Bahr.

The sheriff’s departments asks that if someone sees Bahr to use caution and call 911.
