Pulaski girls soccer team advances on

The Pulaski High School girls soccer team eased to a Division 2 regional semifinal playoff win over Beaver Dam on May 30 in Pulaski.

The third-seeded Red Raiders won 9-1 over the 14th-seeded Golden Beavers. Pulaski will host No. 6 Slinger in a regional final at 7 p.m. on June 3.

Shawano, a No. 13 seed, also played in a regional semifinal match on May 30, falling 8-0 to No. 4 Nicolet in Milwaukee.

Veronica Decker had a huge night in Pulaski's win, scoring three goals and getting credit for two assists.

Ellie Mangold netted two goals for Pulaski, while Gianna Logue, Josie Steeno, Elizabeth Dornfeld and Tyranie Gerbers scored one goal each.

Brianna Kapla got credit for two assists. Steeno, Lydia Pratt and Laci Lemke had one assist each.
