Panthers win doubleheader over Truckers

Bonduel 3, Norway 2

Norway scored first against Bonduel on a cold Saturday. The Knights put up two runs in the second inning on two infield hits and a single by Bryce Adams, but that is all they could get off starter Charlie Tauchen who threw five solid innings giving up the two runs and five hits while striking out two.

Bonduel loaded the bases in the fifth but could only manage one run on an Easton Reinke sacrifice fly.

The Bears had two on in the sixth but couldn’t get the hit to score any.

In the seventh, Cade Johnson led off with a single and advanced to second on a sacrifice and then scored on a Noah Weier single to tie the game.Brodie Hartmann then singled to score Weier who was running on the pitch with the winning run.

Johnson had two hits for Bonduel.

Beckett Hartlaben was the winning pitcher.

Bonduel improved to 8-2 overall.

Oconto Falls 6, Clintonville 3

Oconto Falls 5, Clintonville 4

The Panthers won both games of a doubleheader against Clintonville.

In game one, Jack Adler hit 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Cole Bozile hit 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Adler was also the winning pitcher, serving on the mound for six innings, giving up three runs on four hits while striking out eight and walking one.

In game two, Luke Gilbertson hit 1-for-4, including the walk off RBI single with two out in the bottom of the seventh.

Bozile had another good outing, going 2-for-3, scoring twice and collecting an RBI.

Carter Heroux was the winning pitcher for Oconto Falls, pitching 2 1/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits, and striking out three.

Bonduel 13, Southern Door 1

Bonduel started fast as the first five hitters scored and the Bears scored six in the first inning and four more in the second and then cruised to the win 13-1 win over Southern Door.

Bonduel took advantage of six walks and eight Southern Door errors.

Easton Reinke and Brodie Hartmann were both 22-for-3 with three RBIs to lead the Bonduel hitters.

Brodie Hartmann won on the mound. He pitched three innings, gave up three hits and struck out four.

Shawano 1, West De Pere 0

Tom Keszo pitched a one-hit shutout for the victory on the mound as Shawano blanked West De Pere 1-0.

Keszo also had two hits on the day.
