Proceedings of Sept. 3

Benjamin W. Buch, 19, Caroline, formerly Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, bail jumping, and exposing himself to a child, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 1. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 17.

A three-day jury trial was rescheduled to begin Nov. 4 for Greylyn M. Gilson, 54, Lena, on charges of manufacture and delivery of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of methamphetamine precursors, possession of paraphernalia to produce methamphetamine, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred Jan. 1 and Sept. 6, 2019. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Oct. 26.

A bench warrant was authorized for Jacob W. Oestreich, 31, Oconto Falls, after he failed to appear for a preliminary hearing on charges of attempted aggravated battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 19.

Proceedings of Sept. 2

Michael A. Musial, 33, Phelps, was sentenced to six years in prison, followed by six years of extended supervision, for homicide by operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with a traffic crash July 18, 2019, in Mountain that claimed the life of motorcyclist Mark Roovers, 61, of Appleton. Judge Michael T. Judge ordered that during those 12 years Musial must have no contact with the victim’s family, maintain absolute sobriety and complete all programs deemed appropriate by the Department of Corrections. Musial is not eligible for treatment programs that could result in early release, Judge ruled.

A Feb. 9 jury trial was scheduled for James Edward Bieber, 39, Green Bay, who is charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited alcohol content (both fourth offenses) in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 21, 2018. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Feb. 8.

A bench warrant was authorized for Scott Dakota Scott Clendenin, 20, Green Bay, after he failed to appear for a plea hearing on a charge of possession of paraphernalia to produce methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 9.

Matthew B. Gilmour, 21, Neenah, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 18. A related felony charge and two other counts were dismissed but read into the record. Judge Michael T. Judge imposed and stayed a one-year county jail term, placing Gilmour on one year of probation, ordered him to maintain absolute sobriety during probation, and assessed fines and court costs of $463.

Proceedings of Sept. 1

A Sept. 9 jury trial was rescheduled to Nov. 18 for David W. Parmentier, 69, Suring, who is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and misdemeanor charges of resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 27. Brown County Judge Beau Liegios, who is hearing the case because the defendant is an Oconto County Board supervisor, scheduled a motion hearing and final pre-trial conference for Oct. 30.

A bench warrant was issued for Sylvia M. Mcvay, 41, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for failure to appear at an Aug. 26 preliminary hearing for possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 28.

Proceedings of Aug. 31

Randy R. SanRoman, 41, Green Bay, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge possession of THC, reduced from a felony, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 27, 2019. Judge Michael T. Judge placed SanRoman on one year of probation and levied fines and court costs totaling $1,797.55.

Mary K. Krueger, 52, Gillett, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of theft, criminal trespass and two counts of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred Dec. 17, 2019. A related felony charge was dismissed in a plea agreement. Judge Jay N. Conley placed her on three years probation, including two weeks in the county jail, and assessed fines and court courts totaling $1,737.

Dennis D. Buchholz Jr., 18, Oconto Falls, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver THC, possession of THC (second and subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 21. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for Nov. 13 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
