Proceedings of May 5

• Sarah L. Alberts, 41, Oconto, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision for chronic neglect of a child with the consequence that a sexual offense was committed, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 11, 2020. Judge James A. Morrison rejected the district attorney’s recommendation that sentencing be withheld and Alberts placed on probation for four years. Morrison ordered that Alberts may have contact with her children only in writing and with corrections agent approval, with the exception of a letter of apology to them. During extended supervision, she will be prohibited from living with any children under age 18. She was given credit for 988 days already served in the county jail.

• Robert Francis Marshall, 44, Oconto, was sentenced to eight years in prison, followed by four years of extended supervision, for second-degree sexual assault of a child, in connection with an incident that occurred March 25, 2022. Judge Michael T. Judge ruled that during extended supervision, Marshall must maintain absolute sobriety; complete all counseling, assessments and treatment recommended; have no contact or attempt contact with anyone under 18 without prior agent approval and unless accompanied by an adult sober chaperone approved by his agent; and not to establish, pursue nor maintain any dating, romantic or sexual relationship without prior agent approval.

• Koltin Winchester Grzybowski, 22, Coleman, was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by five years of extended supervision, for causing injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle in connection with an incident that occurred May 15, 2021. Judge Jay N. Conley ruled that among conditions of extended supervision, Grzybowski must comply with alcohol and other drug abuse and psychological evaluations and any assessments, counseling or treatment deemed necessary by his corrections agent. He was given credit for 63 days already served in jail.

• Scott Patrick Keller, 50, Marinette, pleaded no contest to possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, in connection with an incident that occurred May 19, 2022. Judge scheduled sentencing for July 17 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• Destiny Rae Rockman, 34, Neopit, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 3. Judge scheduled sentencing for June 28 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• Alexander Michael Heagle, 34, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of possession of THC, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 2. Judge scheduled sentencing for June 28 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• Nicholas J. Charles, 24, Suamico, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to burglary and misdemeanor criminal damage to property, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 4. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for June 15.

Proceedings of May 4

• Santally Aarika Kwasny, 27, Green Bay, was placed on three years of probation, starting with six months in the county jail, after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for theft by false representation (more than $100,000), in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 30, 2021. Conley ordered Kwasny to pay restitution and court fees of $1,125, have no contact with Chrysler World or its employees, maintain at least 40 hours per week of work and provide pay stubs monthly to her corrections agent, receive prior approval from the agent to obtain any loans or open any financial accounts and complete all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by her agent.

• A bench warrant was issued for Blake I. Mueller, 42, Gillett, after he failed to appear for a preliminary hearing on charges of taking and driving a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 12.

• A bench warrant was authorized for Terrence Robert Spice, 35, Oconto, after he failed to appear for court hearings on charges of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor charges of operating a motor vehicle while revoked and violating an ignition interlock order, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 10, and a charge of causing a child 13-18 to view sexual activity, in connection with an incident that allegedly March 11, 2022.

• After a preliminary hearing, Joshua Joe Bacon, 18, Oconto, was bound over on charges of strangulation and suffocation, three counts of felony bail jumping, two counts of misdemeanor battery, three counts of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred Feb. 1, Feb. 17 and Feb. 18. Arraignment was scheduled for May 25.

Proceedings of May 3

• Kenneth P. Halase, 40, Green Bay, was sentenced to two years, six months, in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision, for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 23, 2021. Judge ruled Halase is eligible for the Substance Abuse Program, which can lead to early release upon successful completion. During extended supervision, he must maintain absolute sobriety and have no contact with known drug users. He was given credit for 24 days already served in jail.

• After a preliminary hearing, Collin E. VanHulle, 23, Oconto, was bound over on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 26. Arraignment was scheduled for June 9.

• Kelly Patrick Grzybowski, 27, Lena, pleaded not guilty to charges of battery by prisoners, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 20, 2021, and fleeing an officer, in connection with an alleged Jan. 2, 2021, incident. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 25.

Proceedings of May 2

• An Oct. 18 jury trial was scheduled for Rodney L. Baumgarten, 41, Gillett on charges of possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony and two counts of illegal shining, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 25, 2020. A final pre-trial hearing was scheduled for Oct. 2, along with a status conference on a separate case alleging charges of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 28, 2021.

• After a preliminary hearing, Jesus Francisco Castro, 33, Green Bay, was bound over and pleaded not guilty to false imprisonment, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 30. The defense demanded a speedy trial on the record, and a July 27-28 jury trial was scheduled, with a final pre-trial conference on July 10.

• Rajni Casimir Bullock, 51, Little Suamico, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to child abuse intentionally causing harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 1. A pre-trial hearing was scheduled for July 5.

Proceedings of May 1

• Bond was set at $10,000 cash for Ashley Ann Abt, 34, Neenah, after she was charged with possession of methamphetamine, four counts of felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 30. Her initial appearance was adjourned until May 25.
