Proceedings of Sept. 22

• Michael A. Holtger, 31, Oconto, pleaded guilty to felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 14, 2022. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for Nov. 21 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• Ashley M. Rath, 32, Gillett, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second or subsequent) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 4. Judge Jay N. Conley scheduled arraignment for Oct. 12.

• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Javier Lashun Dixon, 30, Sobieski, after he was charged with victim intimidation and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 20. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Oct. 12.

• Bond was set at $1,500 cash for Caiden R. Whitehead, 17, Oconto, after he was charged with fleeing an officer in a vehicle and second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 20. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until Oct. 12.

Proceedings of Sept. 21

• Paula A. Dehart, 66, White Lake, was placed on probation with conditions for three years after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol content (fourth offense), in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 14. Conley also revoked her driver’s license for three years.

• Brian L. Coshenet, 47, Oconto, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred July 14, and misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident allegedly occurred June 19, 2022. Felony charges were amended to misdemeanors in a plea agreement. Conley placed him on a year of probation with conditions.

• Amber N. Barber, 42, White Lake, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of narcotic drugs, maintaining a drug trafficking place and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 31. A plea hearing was scheduled for Sept. 26.

• Darrell John Brempell, 34, Green Bay, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, carrying a concealed knife and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 8. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Oct. 12.

• After a preliminary hearing, Benjamin Harrison, 28, Oconto, was bound over on charges of repeated physical abuse of a child causing bodily harm and misdemeanor counts of pointing a firearm at a person and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 15. Arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 12.

• Brad D. Coopman, 50, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 3; two counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 4; and eight counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 15. Judge scheduled arraignment for Oct. 13.

• Amy M. Uphill, 39, Oconto, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 6. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Oct. 12.

• Michael P. Newberry, 45, Gillett, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (fifth or sixth offense), battery or threat to a law officer, and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of THC, operating while revoked and violating an ignition interlock device order, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 8. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Oct. 12 and a plea hearing for Oct. 13.

Proceedings of Sept. 19

• Bond was set at $3,000 cash for Adam J. Martens, 31, Oconto, after he was charged with child abuse intentionally causing harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 10, and victim intimidation and misdemeanor criminal damage to property, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 14. Conley adjourned his initial appearance to Oct. 12.

Proceedings of Sept. 18

• Joshua Joe Bacon, 19, Oconto, pleaded no contest to strangulation and suffocation and guilty to felony bail jumping and misdemeanor charges of battery, two counts of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, in connection with incidents that occurred Feb. 1, Feb. 17 and Feb. 18. Judge scheduled sentencing for Nov. 20 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• The final pre-trial conference was held for the Oct. 13-14 jury trial of Andre Nathaniel Jackson, 33, Green Bay, on charges of strangulation and suffocation, taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, and misdemeanor counts of intentionally mistreating animals and disorderly conduct, along with two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred May 17 and 18, 2022.

• The final pre-trial hearing was completed for the Oct. 18-19 jury trial for Dale L. Hazelrigg, 74, Suring, on charges of bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 1, and second-degree sexual assault of a child, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 1, 2021.

• A Jan. 17-18 jury trial was scheduled for John J. McDonald, 43, Oconto, on charges of child abuse intentionally causing harm, false imprisonment and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 2, 2021. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Jan. 8.
