Bucks secure No. 1 seed in East

The Milwaukee Bucks rallied from a 23-point deficit to top the Miami Heat and lock up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference during a game Thursday in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Milwaukee outscored Miami 74-43 in the second half.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton each scored 33 points to power the Bucks. Antetokounmpo also had 12 rebounds, while Middleton grabbed six boards and dished out eight assists.

Brook Lopez contributed 17 points. Eric Bledsoe recorded nine points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Wesley Matthews also had nine points.

Pat Connaughton knocked down three 3-pointers and scored 11 points to lead Milwaukee's bench unit. George Hill chipped in nine points.

The Bucks suffered a second straight loss in a three-point setback to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Brook Lopez and Matthews didn’t play for Milwaukee, and Antetokounmpo and Middleton were limited to just 16 minutes.

Antetokounmpo still led the team with 16 points, while Kyle Korver tallied 13 off the bench. Ersan Ilyasova, Frank Mason III and Donte DiVincenzo chipped in 11 points each.

The Bucks turned the ball over 18 times. They also allowed 21 3-pointers for a second straight game.

Milwaukee is 54-14 on the season.

The Bucks squandered a late lead in a matchup with the Houston Rockets on Sunday in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Antetokounmpo posted 36 points, 18 rebounds and eight assists to lead Milwaukee, although a late turnover from the reigning MVP proved to be costly.

Middleton and Brook Lopez also posted double-doubles for the Bucks. Middleton scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Brook Lopez had 23 points and 12 boards.

No other Milwaukee player had over 10 points. The Bucks shot just under 50%, but turned the ball over 22 times.

Antetokounmpo recorded 36 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists to help the Bucks down the Boston Celtics on Friday in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The contest marked the first of eight seeding games for Milwaukee in the restart of the NBA season.

Middleton added 18 points, while tallying eight assists and five rebounds for the Bucks. Brook Lopez scored 14 points and blocked six shots, while DiVincenzo chipped in 10 points.

Robin Lopez led Milwaukee’s bench by scoring nine points. Ilyasova and Hill had seven points each.

Milwaukee shot 46% in the contest and made 28 free throws in 34 attempts.
