Menominee Indian's Moss 1st at cross-country invitational
Menominee Indian High School's Isaiah Moss took first at the Marion Invitational on Oct. 4 in Marion, completing the course in 19 minutes, 52 seconds.
Moss was one of four individuals from Menominee Indian in action. Marion and Gresham/Bowler also had individual runners competing.
Francis Delabrau (21:36) placed eighth for Menominee Indian, while Lloyd Reevis (22:00) and Barron Waupoose (22:00) claimed 12th, and 13th, respectively.
Three Marion boys competed, with Jaden Stuhr's 11th-place finish in 22:00 leading the way. Jackson Krohn (25:15) and Jeese Trebus (25:58) were the other two runners, taking 21st and 22nd, respectively.
Gresham/Bowler's Bryson Nelson took 16th in 22:48 and was the lone runner from the co-op.
Bridget Much and Gracie Grogan ran for Marion in the girls race. Much was 13th in 30:12, while Grogan took 17th in 34:15.
