Lions Club holding carnival, bike rodeo

The Clintonville Lions Club will once again host its spring carnival from May 20-22.

It will also host a separate a bike rodeo event on May 22.

Carnival rides will open at 5 p.m. May 20 and run until 10 p.m. Hours on May 21 will be 5-11 p.m. and hours May 22 will be noon to 11 p.m.

Ticket prices for the carnival are $3, with one ticket required per ride on May 21-22. The special on May 20 will have tickets for $2. A bracelet for unlimited rides can be purchased in advance for $25 from May 1-19 at Tadych’s EconoFoods, or at the carnival for $30.

The bike rodeo will be held at the Clintonville Middle School south parking lot, 255 N. Main St. from 9-11 a.m. on May 22. Pre-registration is required for participation, which is free. Parents will be required to stay with their child during the entire event, and everyone will need to wear a mask when at each station where social distancing may not be achieved due to the activity being conducted.
