Light up the Christmas tree in the WOW Art Park

Shop at the craft fair and visit with Santa Claus

WITTENBERG — Walls of Wittenberg is hosting its annual Christmas Craft Fair and Bake Sale at the WOWSPACE from 3-8 p.m. Dec. 6 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7.

WOW members will offer a large selection of baked goods, and there will be several vendors on hand with one-of-a-kind handmade items.

Included in the craft fair this year will be Christmas evergreen wreaths and swags, painted signs, hand-turned bowls, mesh wreaths, primitive birdhouses, sewing crafts, homemade goat milk soaps and lotions, crochet items, quilted projects and wooden crosses, pottery, lawn art, metal art, tabletop decorations, plasma cut saws, jewelry and Lampwork beads, fleece hats, mittens and scarfs, papier-mache Christmas decorations and jewelry, embellished serving ware and repurposed dishes.

Four of the vendors are new this year.

The lighting of the Christmas tree will be in the adjacent Art Park at 7 p.m. Dec. 6. People are encouraged to donate new or used ornaments and help decorate the tree at that time. The Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School choir will be on hand to lead the singing of Christmas carols.

Santa will to listen to requests and pass out goody bags courtesy of the Wittenberg Area Chamber of Commerce. They will also provide hot cider and cookies.

Free books donated by the Friends of the Shawano County Library, Inc. and Lake Country Republic Women will be handed out.
