Clintonville 12

Shawano 5

Shawano surrendered nine runs in the sixth inning in a road loss to Clintonville on July 18 in Clintonville.

Shawano tallied four hits in the contest and also drew seven walks. Braedyn Kowalkowski got on base three times for the Patriots.

Shawano's Jake Polzin pitched the four four innings, allowing two runs. Ashton Henning then worked 1⅓ innings and allowed five runs, three of which were earned.

Joey Sperberg and Brady Glysch combined to get the final two outs for Shawano, with Sperberg allowing three runs and Glysch two.

Bonduel 6

Shawano 5 (10 inn.)

Bonduel earned a 10-inning win over Shawano on July 15 in Shawano.

Cole Anderson delivered the game-winning hit in the top of the 10th for Bonduel, driving in Noah Beilfuss on a single. Jack Johnson then induced a flyout with two outs in the bottom of the frame to strand the bases loaded and seal up the win.

Beilfuss drove in three runs, while Garrett Engel scored twice for Bonduel. Mason Bohm, Isaac Boldt, Beilfuss and Johnson all pitched multiple innings.

Ashton Henning drove in two runs on two hits and scored twice to lead Shawano at the plate. The Patriots had 15 hits but stranded 12 runners on base. Andrew Popp, Joey Sperberg and Ethan Demunck all pitched, with Demunck taking the tough loss.

Shawano 5

New London 3

Shawano took down New London in a July 13 game in New London.

The Patriots scored three runs in the first inning and two more in the fourth.

Ethan Demunck tripled and drove in two runs to lead Shawano at the plate. Braedyn Kowalkowski, Jake Polzin and Carson Popp were each credited with one RBI. Polzin scored two runs and stole three bases.

Polzin also pitched three innings, striking out three batters and allowing two runs. Ashton Henning sealed up the win by working the final four innings, striking out five batters and allowing just one run.

Denmark 10

Bonduel 3

Bonduel had trouble getting its offense going in a clash against Denmark on July 13 in Cecil. Bonduel scored all three of its runs in the final two innings.

Noah Beilfuss reached base in all three of his plate appearances for Bonduel, while Carson Robaidek and Garrett Engel got on base twice each. Brodie Hartmann, Robaidek and Engel scored the team’s runs.

Noah Weier was dealt the loss on the mound after working the first five innings. He allowed two runs in the first and second innings before tossing three straight scoreless frames.

Hartmann pitched the final two frames for the Grizzlies. He allowed a run in the sixth before five Denmark runners crossed the plate in the seventh. The final three runs in the seventh were unearned.

Shawano 7

Bay Port 6

Shawano scored five runs across the final three innings to rally past Bay Port on July 12 in Green Bay.

The Patriots scored three of their runs in the seventh, with Ashton Henning doubling in a run before an error allowed Henning and Carson Popp to score and give the team the lead.

Carson Popp and Henning had two hits each, while Popp and Jake Polzin scored two runs each.

Andrew Popp pitched the first four innings for Shawano, surrendering five runs and striking out five batters. Bryce Popp then pitched two innings and allowed a run before Ethan Demunck worked a scoreless seventh to seal the win.
