HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital wins award for excellence

Award honors facilities ranking in the 95th percentile for a positive patient experience

GREEN BAY – Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) Eastern Wisconsin Division has announced HSHS St. Clare Regional Surgery Center in Oconto Falls and St. Gianna Clinic in Green Bay have each received a Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for Patient Experience.

Press Ganey is a third-party organization that partners with more than 26,000 health-care organizations to help transform the patient experience. The Guardian of Excellence award for Patient Experience honors health care facilities ranking in the 95th percentile for a positive patient experience.

“This honor reflects HSHS St. Clare Regional Surgery Center’s and St. Gianna Clinic’s unwavering commitment to improve the safety, quality and experience of care,” said Patrick T. Ryan, executive chairman at Press Ganey. “Their hard work and dedication are inspiring and we are proud to partner with them on our shared mission to reduce patient suffering.”

HSHS St. Clare Regional Surgery Center is a dedicated general surgery center based at the Oconto Falls hospital, offering a variety of surgical procedures including breast surgery, colonoscopy and hernia repair.

St. Gianna Clinic, an affiliate of HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, is located across the street from the hospital at 1727 Shawano Ave. in Green Bay. It provides faithfully Catholic medical care for people of all ages and stages of life – from conception to natural death. This includes family medicine, women’s care and natural family planning.
