VOLLEYBALL

Suring 3

Wausaukee 1

Suring knocked off Wausaukee in a Marinette & Oconto Conference match on Sept. 15 in Wausaukee. The Eagles won by scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-13, 25-23.

Christine Sleeter recorded 18 combined kills, seven assists and thee aces to lead Suring. McKenzie Chesterfield tallied nine attack kills and four digs, while MaShya Seefeldt had 11 assists.

Trinity Remic served five aces for Suring, while Macie Reed and Bailey Stuart had three each. Stuart also recorded seven digs, while Emma Kristof had four digs.

Gillett 3

STAA 0

Gillett swept St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in a M&O clash on Sept. 15 in Marinette. The Tigers won by scores of 25-7, 25-9, 25-12.

Hailey Elsner led Gillett with seven kills, while Halle Fisher had six and Cilena Guns five. Madison VanHaren led the Tigers with six digs, with Guns and Reece Franti tallying five each.

Grace Baer served six aces for the Tigers. Guns chipped in three aces.

Oconto Falls 3

Denmark 0

Oconto Falls picked up a North Eastern Conference win over Denmark on Sept. 15 in Denmark. The Panthers won by scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

Amber Otto led Oconto Falls with 11 attack kills and also had eight digs. Brailyn St. Louis tallied nine attack kills, while Grace Molitor had six and Morgan Kluth and Tess Maggio five each.

Kyndra Staidl served three aces and was credited with seven digs for the Panthers. Madison Uelmen posted a team-leading 17 digs for Oconto Falls.

Hanna Krejcarek recorded 20 assists and six digs for Oconto Falls, while Morgan Moynihan had 12 assists and seven digs.

Shawano 3

Green Bay East 0

Shawano cruised to a 25-17, 25-12, 25-14 win over Green Bay East in a Bay Conference match on Sept. 17 in Shawano.

Leah Nordin led Shawano with 10 combined kills. Gabby Koenig finished with 17 assists for the Hawks.

Shawano's Sam Richter posted a team-leading 10 digs and five aces in the match.

Tri-County 3

Tigerton 0

Tigerton dropped a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover match to Tri-County on Sept. 15 in Tigerton. Tri-County won by scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-11.

McKenzie Hoffman posted 13 assists for Tigerton. Abby Swartz tallied nine digs and five kills, while Skyler Hauser had 10 kills and four digs.

Samantha Suehring was credited with eight digs for the Tigers, while Jade Selle had seven.

Shawano 7

Green Bay East 0

Shawano eased to a Bay Conference win over Green Bay East on Sept. 15 in Shawano.

Jenna Ainsworth (No. 1), Adison Moesch (No. 2), Ireland Setterman (No. 3) and Rachael Carroll (No. 4) earned singles wins for the Hawks.

Anna Etten and Samantha Martzke (No. 1), Rachael Cooper and Natalee Jung (No. 2) and Ariana Albert and Ava Huntington (No. 3) earned forfeit wins in doubles play.

BOYS SOCCER

Pulaski 6

Marinette 0

Pulaski rolled to a nonconference win over Marinette on Sept. 15 in Marinette.

Maddox McKeefry recorded a hat trick to lead Pulaski. Two of the goals were unassisted, while Aidan Dauk assisted on the other.

Ryan Drafz scored two goals in the first half for Pulaski, with Hayden Burkel and Chase Ambrosius assisting on the scores. Corbin Tackmier also scored in the first half, with Donovan Holderness assisting.

Mason Baker made two saves to record the shutout in goal for Pulaski. The Red Raiders attempted 31 shots on goal.
