GIRLS GOLF

Panthers win another NEC match

Oconto Falls posted a score of 206 to win a North Eastern Conference match on Sept. 13 at Irish Water Golf Club in Kaukauna. Luxemburg-Casco came in second with a mark of 234, while Freedom was third with a 245.

Taylor Miller turned in a nine-hole round of 49 to lead Oconto Falls and also finish as the top individual.

Kate Pytleski and Kloeigh Seidl each posted rounds of 52 for the Panthers. Lexi Nelson carded a 53, while Kenadee Seidl tallied a 56.

Oconto Falls is now 7-1 on the season in its conference matches.

BOYS SOCCER

Pulaski 1

Green Bay Preble 0

Pulaski took down Green Bay Preble in a Fox River Classic Conference battle on Sept. 13 in Green Bay.

Ben Uelmen scored in the 47th minute on a corner kick for Pulaski, with Chase Ambrosius assisting on the score.

Pulaski goalie Mason Baker stopped six shots to post the shutout.

VOLLEYBALL

Bowler 3

Tigerton 0

Bowler swept Tigerton in a tight Central Wisconsin Conference-North Division clash on Sept. 13 in Tigerton. The Panthers won by scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.

Bertina Dodge posted 10 attack kills, 11 digs and three aces for Bowler. Brandi Spencer contributed 12 assists, five digs and three aces, while Ava Paiser had five attack kills, six assists and six digs.

Natalie Rickert chipped in five attack kills and three aces for Bowler. Isabella Stevens totaled eight digs.

Skyler Hauser tallied eight attack kills, six digs and three blocks to lead Tigerton, while Abby Swartz had seven attack kills and eight digs. McKenzie Hoffman recorded 10 assists and six service points, Samantha Suehring tallied 11 service points and six digs, Jade Selle posted seven digs and six service points and McKenzie Miller had eight service points and three aces.

Niagara 2

Suring outlasted Niagara in a Marinette & Oconto Conference match on Sept. 13 in Suring. The Eagles won by scores of 25-16, 15-25, 25-18, 13-25, 15-9.

Christine Sleeter recorded 17 combined kills, 10 digs and six assists for Suring, while McKenzie Chesterfield had seven digs, six attack kills and three aces.

MaShya Seefeldt tallied 15 assists and five digs for the Eagles. Emma Kristof was credited with 19 digs, while Trinity Remic had 10.

Witt-Birn 73

Wittenberg-Birnamwood won three events during a Bay Conference dual loss to Seymour on Sept. 13 in Seymour.

Faith Resch won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.31 seconds. Reese Dickman claimed the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.15.

Dickman, Faith Resch, Olivia Bessette and Annika Resch teamed up for a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay, posting a time of 1:52.94.

Pulaski 2

Pulaski dropped a FRCC match to Manitowoc Lincoln on Sept. 13 in Pulaski.

Sarah Johnson and Josie Steeno teamed up for a win at No. 2 doubles for Pulaski. Mikalah Due and Hailey Jansen won at No. 3 doubles.
