Shawano takes 2nd at Bay Tournament

Shawano topped New London (25-14, 25-21) and West De Pere (20-25, 25-16, 15-12) before losing to Xavier (22-25, 25-18, 15-12) to place second at the Bay Conference Tournament on Oct. 15 in Green Bay. By defeating Xavier in the first set, Shawano became the only Bay Conference team to win a set against Xavier all season.

Against New London, Alix Heath, Coral Cook and Megan Dillenburg all served three aces for Shawano. Abby Bystol and Leah Nordin each posted seven attack kills. Heath led the team with 21 assists, while Dillenburg had nine digs.

Nordin posted 10 attack kills against West De Pere. Heath recorded 25 assists, while Dillenburg had 10 digs and two aces.

Bystol posted a team-leading five attack kills against Xavier. Cook served four aces, Heath totaled 15 assists and Sam Richter had nine digs.
