GIRLS BASKETBALL

Bonduel 61

Denmark 37

Bonduel cruised to a nonconference victory over Denmark on Nov. 17 in Denmark. The Bears led 35-13 at halftime and picked up their first win of the young season.

Ella Hischke and Hailey Zernicke each scored 14 points to power Bonduel to the win. Audrey Weier added 10 points. Hailee Thompson posted 11 steals, five offensive rebounds and four assists, Weier led the team with six boards and Hischke had four assists.

Bonduel finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds and 30 steals.

Witt-Birn 74

Rosholt 35

Wittenberg-Birnamwood improved to 2-0 after routing Rosholt in a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover matchup on Nov. 17 in Rosholt. The Chargers led 52-16 at halftime.

Reese Rogowski led Witt-Birn with 25 points, eight assists and four steals. She knocked down four of the team's eight 3-pointers. Rory Salvesen added 16 points, while Melaina Granquist had 15 points.

Jami Wendler pulled down a team-leading seven rebounds for the Chargers.

Merrill 64

Shawano 51

Shawano dropped a nonconference clash against Merrill on Nov. 17 in Shawano.

Abby Bystol led Shawano with 17 points. Leah Nordin chipped in 12 points, while Trinity Popelka had 10.
