Shawano boys 2nd at invitational

Shawano scored 121 points and placed second at the Wausau West Boys Small School Invitational on March 28 in Wausau.

Shawano’s 4x800-meter relay team of Ethan Onesti, Jaymin Boivin, Aiden Preston and Will Chelberg placed first in 8 minutes, 39.9 seconds. The 4x160 relay team of Ryan Schwitzer, Logan Korth, Drake Herm and Austin Peterson took first in 1:17.65.

Brandon Reed won the 55 hurdles (8.64) and was second in the 200 hurdles (30.75). Chelberg claimed first in the 1,600 (5:00.44) and second in the 800 (2:21.29), while Drake Herm won the 200 (26.34). Taking third was Korth in the 200 (27.23) and the 4x400 relay team of Boivin, Aiden Sischo, Joshua Lesperance and Trevor Schwartz with a time of 4:29.45.

Davenport leads Menominee Indian in Neenah

Ali Davenport turned in a pair of top-three finishes during the Neenah Boys Indoor Invite on March 28 in Neenah.

Davenport won the 55-meter dash in 6.92 seconds and was third in the 200 with a mark of 25.08 seconds.

Barron Waupoose took third in the 400 dash (57.72).
