Clintonville 51

Clintonville could not hold its late lead in a North Eastern Conference matchup with Oconto Falls on Thursday in Clintonville.

Clintonville was outscored 10-2 over the final four minutes of the game.

Erin Viergutz scored 23 points to lead Clintonville on the offensive end. Selina Torrez tallied eight points, while Elly Arndt and Jordan Lehman scored seven points each.

Bonduel 36

Amherst 33

Bonduel held off Amherst on Thursday in Bonduel for its second big Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division win of the week.

Kara Troxel scored 11 points and had four steals to lead Bonduel. Madison Kurey posted a double-double, tallying 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Allaina Robaidek had nine points and three assists.

"It was a grind for both teams on the offensive end, with both teams playing very good man-to-man defense," said Bonduel coach Jerry Reinke. "Both teams played very hard considering the quick turnaround after both teams playing tough games Tuesday."

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 60

Iola-Scandinavia 45

Wittenberg-Birnamwood bounced back from its first loss of the season with a comfortable CWC-East victory over Iola-Scandinavia on Thursday in Iola.

Emma Herb and Abi Fraaza carried Witt-Birn to the win, scoring 30 and 18 points, respectively.

Herb also totaled eight rebounds and three steals, while Fraaza had nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Olivia Curley contributed seven rebounds and five assists.

"It was nice to get back on track tonight," said Witt-Birn coach Nick Mechelke. "We had a nice offensive attack, making the extra pass and finishing around the basket."
