GIRLS BASKETBALL

Bonduel 61

Algoma 17

Bonduel rolled to a nonconference win over Algoma on Jan. 16 in Bonduel. The Bears led 37-8 by halftime.

Hailey Zernicke recorded 18 points and eight rebounds to power Bonduel. Ella Hischke added 12 points and four steals.

Hailee Thompson dished out three assists for the Bears in the win.

Witt-Birn 66

Gillett 20

Wittenberg-Birnamwood eased past Gillett in a nonconference matchup on Jan. 16 in Gillett.

Reese Rogowski totaled 24 points, nine rebounds and nine steals for Witt-Birn. Rory Salvesen contributed 16 points, eight boards, seven steals and four assists, while Melaina Granquist had 10 points and six rebounds.

Faith Resch chipped in six points, seven boards and four steals for the Chargers.

Oconto Falls trailed 36-30 by halftime.
