Menominee Indian 67

Gresham 46

Menominee Indian pulled away in the second half to claim a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover victory over Gresham on Tuesday in Keshena.

Menominee Indian’s Mimi Beaulieu-Morgan knocked down six 3-pointers and finished the game with 35 points. Alyssa Corn and Senihseah Wayka each chipped in eight points, while Alezaha King had seven.

Menominee Indian outscored Gresham 36-16 in the second half.

Valarie Cerveny was Gresham’s top scorer with 20 points. Makayla Belongia added 10 points, while Kaylee Bohm had seven.

Marion 37

White Lake 28

Marion earned a nonconference road win over White Lake on Tuesday.

Tessa Brei and Kyla Zillmer led Marion on the offensive end, scoring 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Kelsey Zillmer pulled down nine rebounds, while Kyla Zillmer had seven and Brei had six. Kyla Zillmer also finished with eight steals, while Brei had four.

“The game was very physically and mentally tough, but (we) weathered the storm with clutch plays at critical moments to help us earn the hard-fought victory,” said Marion coach Brad Fischer.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Green Bay NEW Lutheran 94

Bowler 43

Bowler was toppled in nonconference play against Green Bay NEW Lutheran on Tuesday in Bowler, but it was still a memorable night for the Panthers.

Zach Fehrman hit a deep 3-pointer in the first half to tally his 1,000th career point. He finished with 16 points.

“This just means so much to me,” said Fehrman. “Only seven other players in Bowler High School history have hit 1,000 points. I’ve always wanted to be remembered for something and now I can be remembered for hitting 1,000 career points.”

“This is a well-deserved honor for a player who always hustles and has always been, first and foremost, a great teammate,” said Bowler head coach Ted Kietlinski.

Lane Schultz added eight points for Bowler.

Bonduel 63

Oconto 57

Bonduel outscored Oconto by six in the second half to claim a tight nonconference battle on Tuesday in Bonduel.

Cole Letter knocked down three 3-pointers on his way to a 23-point game. Reece Stoltenow also hit three triples to finish with 11 points.

Carson Robaidek chipped in 10 points, while Garrett Engel hit two 3-pointers and had eight points.

Algoma 47

Gresham 43

Gresham suffered a tight nonconference loss to Algoma on Tuesday in Gresham. The hosts were outscored 32-23 in the second half.

Jake Hoffman scored 18 points — 14 of which came in the first half — to pace Gresham. Waylon Welch added 11 points.

Hoffman pulled down nine rebounds, while Will Jensen had six.
