GIRLS BASKETBALL
Shawano 58
Marinette 21
Top-seeded Shawano breezed to a Division 2 regional semifinal victory over fourth-seeded Marinette on Feb. 12 in Shawano.
The Hawks advance to the regional final, and will host second-seeded Antigo on Feb. 13.
Witt-Birn 59
Clintonville 33
Second-seeded Wittenberg-Birnamwood dominated the first half and cruised to a Division 3 regional semifinal win over third-seeded Clintonville on Feb. 12 in Wittenberg.
Reese Rogowski and Abi Fraaza powered Witt-Birn, scoring 21 and 17 points, respectively. Emma Herb added seven points for the Chargers.
Herb, Fraaza and Amara Schoepke all grabbed six rebounds for the hosts, while Jadalynn Davids grabbed seven boards.
Witt-Birn will travel to take on top-seeded Amherst in the regional title on Feb. 13.
Bonduel 67
Oconto 40
Top-seeded Bonduel eased to a Division 3 regional semifinal win over fourth-seeded Oconto on Feb. 12 in Bonduel. The Bears led 38-12 at halftime.
Kara Troxel scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Bonduel to victory. Allaina Robaidek added 16 points, while Ella Hischke had 12.
Breanna Schnell grabbed a team-leading nine rebounds for Bonduel. Kylie Hoffman finished with three assists and three steals.
The Bears will host third-seeded Oconto Falls in the regional title game on Feb. 13.
Gresham 85
White Lake 19
Top-seeded Gresham dominated fourth-seeded White Lake in a Division 5 regional semifinal matchup on Feb. 12 in Gresham. The Wildcats led 52-13 at halftime.
Hannah Cerveny was Gresham's top scorer with 18 points. Makayla Belongia added 15 points, while Valarie Cerveny and Jessa Jensen both had 13 points.
Chloe Bohl chipped in 10 points for Gresham, which hit eight 3-pointers in the game. Belongia hit four of the triples and Valarie Cerveny buried three.
Gresham will host second-seeded Northland Lutheran in the regional final on Feb. 13.
Northland Lutheran 63
Tigerton 53
Third-seeded Tigerton fell short in a Division 5 regional semifinal game against second-seeded Northland Lutheran on Feb. 12 in Kronenwetter.
Savannah Swartz posted 28 points, 13 rebounds, six steals and three blocks for Tigerton in the loss. Ladia Block added 10 points, while Adrienne Brady had nine assists and five steals.
Tigerton finishes the season with a 6-12 overall record.
