BOYS BASKETBALL

Witt-Birn 67

Iola-Scandinavia 58

Wittenberg-Birnamwood knocked off Iola-Scandinavia in a Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division clash on Dec. 6 in Wittenberg.

Mason Meverden connected on four 3-pointers and led Witt-Birn with 22 points. Michael Miller tallied 18 points for the Chargers.

Oliver Fraaza was also in double figures for the hosts, tallying 11 points. Marshall Fraaza chipped in six points.

Tigerton 59

White Lake 23

Tigerton eased past White Lake in a CWC-North contest on Dec. 6 in Tigerton.

Ryder Graham led Tigerton with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Asher Michaelis had eight points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Colby Wanta and Tyler Dent each scored six points for Tigerton. Loghan Wanta pulled down seven boards, while Sam Anheuser had six. Colby Wanta and Loghan Wanta each were credited with four assists.

Bonduel 56

Amherst 51

Bonduel earned a CWC-East win over Amherst on Dec. 6 in Amherst.

Cade Johnson scored 18 points to lead Bonduel offensively. Noah Weier added 12 points.

Karter Schroeder and Ryan Westrich each chipped in six points for the Bears.

Shawano 83

Menasha 48

Shawano routed Menasha in a Bay Conference contest on Dec. 6 in Menasha. Shawano led 42-17 at halftime.

Michael Metcalf-Grassman led Shawano with 18 points, while Brandon Reed provided 17 points.

Jacob Landon and Logan Sipple each scored 10 points for Shawano. Julian Perez chipped in eight points.

Florence 60

Gillett lost a nonconference tilt against Florence on Dec. 6 in Gillett.

Jesse DeBauch scored 12 points for Gillett, while Austin VandeCorput added 10 points.

Ben Matczak tallied nine points for the Tigers. Bradin Bjelland contributed seven points.

Lena dropped a Marinette & Oconto Conference matchup to Lena on Dec. 6 in Coleman.

Reed Hosking led Lena in scoring with eight points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Bonduel 64

Peshtigo 38

Bonduel rolled past Peshtigo in a nonconference game on Dec. 6 in Bonduel.

Audrey Weier scored 12 points for Bonduel. Ella Hischke, Hailee Thompson and Hailey Zernicke all added 10 points.

Zernicke also grabbed 12 rebounds for the Bears. Hischke tallied five assists, while Weier had four steals.

West De Pere 66

Shawano couldn't keep up with West De Pere in a Bay matchup on Dec. 6 in Shawano.

Abby Bystol scored seven points for Shawano. Ella Stuber and Trinity Popelka had six points each.
