WRESTLING

Bonduel finishes 4-0 at Seymour Duals

Bonduel picked up wins over Peshtigo (42-33), Seymour (40-36), Lena (42-33) and Waupun (42-38) during the Seymour Duals on Dec. 3 in Seymour.

Jaxon Bogacz (106), Parker Perry (170) and Tyson Bogacz (182) all finished with 4-0 records for Bonduel.

Shawano goes 2-3 at Catbird Duals

Shawano defeated Cashton (42-36) and Dodgeville (60-24) while losing to West Salem/Bangor (61-15), Northwestern (48-30) and Holmen (48-27) at the Catbird Duals on Dec. 3 in West Salem.

Caden Young and Drake Herm each finished 5-0 on the day for Shawano. Herm spent just 4 minutes, 17 seconds on the mat during those matches.

Cody Popelka posted a 4-1 record for the Hawks. Dane Hodkiewicz and Carsen Herm each earned three wins.

Peters leads Eagles at invitational

Menominee Indian's Michael Peters earned a fifth-place finish while taking part in an invitational on Dec. 3 in Antigo.

Peters earned one win on the day to earn his finish. Nakadin Boyd also won once and placed seventh. Francis Dodge came in eighth after earning one win.

Nathan Miller led the Eagles with two wins. He came in 11th.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Gillett 68

Gresham 18

Gillett knocked off Gresham in a nonconference matchup on Dec. 3 in Gillett.

Ryan Pensis scored 18 first-half points for Gillett. Jesse DeBauch finished the contest with 12 points, while Austin VandeCorput and Ben Matczak had 10 points each.

Tyler Frank and Lavonzell Smith chipped in six points each for the Tigers.

Wyatt Nietzer scored seven points to lead Gresham in scoring.
