GIRLS BASKETBALL

Shawano 34

Oconto Falls 11

Shawano claimed a low-scoring win over Oconto Falls during a Sun Drop Shootout matchup on Dec. 27 at the Kress Center in Green Bay.

Leah Nordin paced Shawano with 16 points. Ella Stuber chipped in seven points.

Bailee Gorman scored four of Oconto Falls' points and hit two of the team's three field goals.

Wabeno/Laona 62

Suring 51

Suring dropped a tournament game to Wabeno/Laona on Dec. 27 in Keshena.

Bunny Cramer and Christine Sleeter each scored 20 points for Suring.

Mackenzie Bailey finished the game with 11 rebounds and eight assists for the Eagles, while Sleeter had 10 boards and six blocks. Cramer added six rebounds and three assists to her statline.

Emma Kristof contributed seven rebounds and three assists for Suring.

Green Bay Southwest 47

Shawano ended the game on a 12-4 run to top Green Bay Southwest during a Sun Drop Shootout matchup on Dec. 27 at the Kress Center in Green Bay.

Michael Metcalf-Grassman led a balanced Shawano attack with 15 points. Jacob Landon added 12 points.

Luke Guenther contributed nine points for the Hawks. Logan Sipple tallied eight points, while Brandon Reed had seven.

Antigo knocked off the Shawano co-op during a tournament matchup on Dec. 27 in Antigo.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood's Owen Dickman, who plays for Antigo, scored two goals.
