BOYS BASKETBALL

Bowler 46

Gillett picked up a nonconference win over Bowler on Dec. 17 in Bowler.

Austin VandeCorput and Jesse DeBauch each scored 17 points for Gillett. Ben Matczak knocked down three 3-pointers and had 16 points, while Aydin Franti added eight points.

DeBauch also tallied 10 rebounds and four assists, while VandeCorput had six boards and three steals. Bradin Bjelland also finished with six rebounds. Franti finished with seven assists and seven steals, while Matczak had eight assists.

Beau Brunner led Bowler with 12 points. Tristan Thiex chipped in 11 points, while Emmitt Kietlinski had 10 and Marcus Malone six.
