BOYS BASKETBALL

Oconto Falls 76

Marinette 60

Oconto Falls earned its first win of the season after taking down Marinette in a North Eastern Conference matchup on Dec. 13 in Marinette.

Alex Haines scored 20 points to lead Oconto Falls on the offensive end. Caden Birr chipped in 16 points.

Shawano 61

Rhinelander 36

Shawano routed Rhinelander in a nonconference game on Dec. 13 in Rhinelander.

Michael Metcalf-Grassman powered Shawano with 17 points. Brandon Reed was also in double figures, scoring 11 points.

Logan Sipple recorded nine points for the Hawks, while Jacob Landon had eight.

Tigerton 74

Wolf River Lutheran 17

Tigerton eased past Wolf River Lutheran in a nonconference matchup on Dec. 13 in Shawano.

Ryder Graham scored 22 points and had three steals for Tigerton. Sam Anheuser contributed 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals, while Maverick Maas had 12 points and five steals. Joey Zimdars had seven points.

Ethan Carlson and Asher Michaelis each dished out four assists for Tigerton.

Notre Dame 66

Pulaski 51

Pulaski dropped a Fox River Classic Conference contest to Notre Dame on Dec. 13 in Pulaski.

Derek Shaw scored 15 points to pace Pulaski offensively. Brady Wotruba added 14 points, while Colin Schultz had 12.

Dixon Holewinski chipped in seven points for the Red Raiders.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Gresham 52

Marion 11

Gresham cruised to a Central Wisconsin Conference-North Division win over Marion on Dec. 13 in Gresham.

Chloe Bohl scored 12 points for Gresham, which led 25-2 at halftime. Lexi Baddmoccosin-Barnes added nine points, while Janay Pecore-Kirkland had eight.

Alexis Roe tallied four points for Marion.

Bonduel 64

Amherst 31

Bonduel rolled to a CWC-East win over Amherst on Dec. 13 in Bonduel. The Bears led 31-6 at halftime.

Hailee Thompson scored 15 points for Bonduel, while Ella Hischke had 10 and Ashlyn Kurey nine.

Hischke tallied four of Bonduel's 17 steals. Thompson had five of the team's 19 assists and also grabbed nine rebounds.

Shawano 62

Rhinelander 54

Shawano knocked off Rhinelander in a nonconference game on Dec. 13 in Rhinelander.

Leah Nordin led Shawano with 24 points.

Trinity Popelka scored 12 points, while Abby Bystol added 11 points for the Hawks.

Suring 51

Oneida Nation 46

Suring held off Oneida Nation in a Marinette & Oconto Conference clash on Dec. 13 in Suring.

Bunny Cramer recorded 18 points and four steals for Suring, while Christine Sleeter had 16 points and three blocks. Birdee Cramer chipped in eight points and 13 rebounds.

MacKenzie Bailey tallied 12 rebounds and seven assists for the Eagles. Kaylee Otradovec had four steals.

Lena 69

Goodman/Pembine 19

Lena eased to a nonconference win over Goodman/Pembine on Dec. 13 in Lena.

Whitney Potter and Natalie McNurlen each scored 15 points for Lena. Kali Fischer added 12 points, while Eva Brooks had 11.

Claire Brooks chipped in six points for the Wildcats.

Iola-Scandinavia 54

Witt-Birn 50

Wittenberg-Birnamwood couldn't hold a 10-point halftime lead in a CWC-East battle with Iola-Scandinavia on Dec. 13 in Iola.

Reese Rogowski tallied 27 points, six rebounds and four steals for Witt-Birn. Melaina Granquist contributed eight points and 13 rebounds, while Rory Salvesen had seven points and nine boards.

Faith Resch grabbed eight rebounds for the Chargers.

Coleman 42

Gillett 22

Gillett dropped its first game of the season in an M&O contest against Coleman on Dec. 13 in Gillett.

Gillett was held to four points in the opening half and trailed by 19 at halftime.

Cilena Guns led the Tigers with six points.
