Oconto Falls wins NEC match

Oconto Falls posted a team score of 214 to win a three-team North Eastern Conference meet on Aug. 22 at Northbrook Golf Course in Luxemburg. Luxemburg-Casco took second with a mark of 225, while Marinette was third with a score of 230.

Kloeigh Seidl led a balanced Oconto Falls team with a nine-hole round of 52.

Kate Pytleski fired a 53, while Taylor Miller carded a 54. Kenadee Seidl and Lexi Nelson each posted rounds of 55.

Shawano 2nd, Bonduel 5th at Bay meet

Shawano turned in a team score of 179 to place second at the third Bay Conference tour stop on Aug. 22 at Golden Sands Golf Course in Cecil. Xavier edged Shawano with a score of 178. Bonduel also competed, taking fifth with a score of 212.

Sophia Eggert led the Hawks with a nine-hole round of 39. It was the second-lowest individual round of the day.

Braylyn Babino fired a round of 44 for Shawano, while Teghan Kristof posted a 45. Alli Johnson (51) and Riley Dreier (52) filled out the five-golfer team.

Sarah Garside led Bonduel with a round of 46. Kerry O'Harrow posted a 50, while Gabi Krause tallied a 54. Thea Tauchen (62) and Raina Dworniczak (66) filled out the team.
