Guy Michael Fredenberg

Guy Michael Fredenberg, 65, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Guy was born March 9, 1956, to the late Henry and Adell (Hoeffs) Fredenberg in Shawano. He worked for the Shawano County Courthouse in housekeeping for many years before working at the Menominee Tribal Clinic and then at the College of Menominee Nation, retiring in 2014. Guy was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Guy is survived by two sisters, Rebecca (Donald) Bonnin, of Cecil, and Terri Fredenberg-Holzman and her husband, John, of Green Bay. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, Cheryl Bruenig, Ralph “Smokey” Fredenberg, Renee Boettcher, Garwin Fredenberg and Deborah White; a niece, Roberta “Pepsi” Wilber; a nephew, Robert Corn Jr.; and lifelong companion, Debbie Anderson.

A funeral service for Guy will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Nonito Barra officiating. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
