Farm toy display donated back to benefit St. Jude

A farm toy display sold at Yoap and Yoap Auctioneers’ Toy Auction last month has been donated back to the auction firm to be sold again at an unpcoming event, with all proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of Memphis.

Steve Reinsbach, of Lancaster, originally created the display for the Toy Builders and Collectors Society. Cliff Barbian, of Rock Springs, had the winning bid, then donated the display to be sold again for St. Jude’s at the upcoming April 23 Toy Auction at Yoap and Yoap in Stiles.

The sale was part of the Yoap and Yoap at its annual new year auction, which also featured the sale of two dozen pies, raising an additional $7,000 for St. Jude Hospital.

Donations were made by R.L. Hall Land Title Co., of Oconto and Shawano; Witt Ford, of Crivitz and Pulaski; Jeff Zeitler Grain Farm, of Pound; Dan Bieber Equipment, of Pound; Dan Risner and Son Excavating, of Pound; Nicolet Farm Market, of Mountain; and Jim Arndt Farm Service, of Lena, among others. Several other donations were made by auction-goers to help the cause.

Yoap and Yoap Auctioneers started the fundraiser with the opening of its auction gallery in 2014. To date, almost $60,000 has been raised for the life-saving efforts and research carried out by St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
