Edward G. Otradovec

Edward George Otradovec, 60, of Suring, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020. Edward was born Oct. 11, 1960, in Shawano to the late Adelbert and Chantel (Vigue) Otradovec. Edward was a dedicated worker at his various places of employment which included Nu-Line Industries, Menominee Tribal Enterprises, Menominee Casino and North Star Casino.

Edward enjoyed riding his motorcycle and shooting pool in the pool league in Suring. Edward loved spending time with his family, whether it was for a cup of coffee, a beverage of choice or a game of cards. He also loved the outdoors and hunting as well as going to the casino.

Edward is survived by two daughters, Tasha (Jesse) Hagel, of Oconto, and Tabitha (Charles Jr.) Helsinger, of Keshena; two sons, Ryan (Kara) Otradovec, of Oconto, and Reese Otradovec of Peach Grove, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Aidan, Chloe, Passion, Aiyana, Gavyn, Cadyn, Leondias, Athena and Matthias; six brothers, Jerome (Rosanne), Rodger, Charles (Judy Ann), Peter (Harrison Sehres) and George (Rachel), all of Suring, and John (Pam), of Wausau; two sisters, Delberta (Otto) Pethke, of Suring, and Dora Jean (Elmer) Diedrich, of Luthersville, Georgia; and his companion, Lisa Funk.

He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adelbert and Chantel; two brothers, Christopher and Leonard; and a sister, Christine.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Edward’s life at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, from 4-8 p.m. A prayer service with rosary will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in South Branch at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020.
