DiAnne C. Hodel

DiAnne C. Hodel, 79, of Gillett, passed away early Friday morning, Feb. 16, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

DiAnne was born on July 4, 1944, in Michigan, daughter of the late Irv and Ginger (Graham) Clark. Following high school, DiAnne trained as a beautician and was employed as a beautician until her retirement. On Feb. 13, 1987, she married Thomas Hodel. This week, they celebrated 37 years of marriage. DiAnne loved riding on the back of Thomas’ Harley-Davidson. They especially enjoyed a trip to Germany where they rode Harleys throughout Europe. She also enjoyed quilting and loved giving the grandkids haircuts.

DiAnne is survived by her husband of 37 years, Thomas Hodel, Gillett; their dog, Honey; two sons, Scott (Tina) Nelson and Clark Nelson, both of Watertown; one stepdaughter, Shelly (Chuck) Warner, West Allis; eight grandchildren, Benjamin Zahn, Dustin Nelson, Jerry Nelson, Nicholas Warner, Zachary Warner, Matthew Warner, Lindsey Warner and Caitlynn Warner; three great-grandchildren, Landon Warner, Ethan Zahn and Oliver Zahn; one sister, Darlene Murphy; two brothers, Charles Worthington and Joe Worthington; one brother-in-law, Daniel (Linda) Hodel; and one sister-in-law, Janet (Clifford) Shave.

Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Cremation has occurred, and DiAnne will be laid to rest at a later date. The Kuehl Funeral Home, 108 E. Main St., Gillett, is assisting the family with arrangements.
