David Allen Kreitzer Aug. 6, 1966 - March 12, 2021

David Allen Kreitzer, 54, of Wittenberg, passed away March 12, 2021, on hospice care in his sister’s home with family in Wittenberg.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon (Janke) Gauthier.

He is survived by his father, Butch Kreitzer; daughters, Samantha (three grandsons) and Madelyen; brother, Steve (Jamie) Kreitzer; sisters Karon (Dan) Weisensel, Kimmyra (Jeff) Bowers and Sheryl Desotelle; nieces, Claire, Manda and Cassandra; and nephews, Cody, Steven, Seth, Ethan, Lukas and Dylan.

David was a welder at Glover’s Manufacturing in Wittenberg. He enjoyed spending his time riding his Harley with his friends and best friend, Ronnie Glover. David was a one-of-a-kind guy that would help his friends out any way he could. He spent his last months with several close friends and family that stopped in on a regular basis. David’s friends were generous and kind, putting together one “last ride,” showing up on all their bikes and making his day. A blessed event that warmed David’s heart and a memory that his family is truly grateful for.

A special thanks to his friends Ronnie Glover, Mike Glover, Tim Glover (and their families), John Anderson, Mike Thorson Sr., Kristy Roth, Wally Pfeil and so many more who were there by his side through his journey.

David’s celebration of life will be held at the Village Inn on May 15 at noon. Lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m.
