Dairyland League Highlights (June 9)

Hofa Park 7

Navarino 6

Hofa Park scored twice in the top of the ninth inning and then held Navarino to a single run in the bottom half to earn a win on June 4 in Navarino.

Robert Schuettpelz and Nick Volz drove in two runs each for Hofa Park. Schuettpelz scored three runs and posted three hits, while also earning the win on the mound. He worked 2⅔ innings and allowed one run.

Preston Hutchins worked the first six innings for Hofa Park. Trevor Cornell got the final out.

Kendal Lecker drove in two runs for Navarino, but was dealt the loss on the mound.

Nichols 4

Cecil 3

Nichols topped Cecil in a June 4 battle in Cecil.

Mason Pautz struck out 13 batters over seven innings to earn the win for Nichols.

Jordan Boldt was the losing pitcher after working 7⅔ innings. Kenny Casper had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Bonduel 3

Pulaski 1

Bonduel knocked off Pulaski on June 4 in Pulaski.

Chase Reinke was the winning pitcher after pitching a complete game. Adam Frost led Bonduel at the plate with four hits. Jack Reinke added three hits, while Wyatt Reinke and Easton Reinke added two hits each.

Drew McDermid, Joel Vandehei and Cody Pangrazzi pitched for Pulaski, which was limited to five hits.

Hortonville 5

Waupaca 2

Hortonville moved to 3-0 in Dairyland League play after topping Waupaca on June 4 in Hortonville.

Will Salaman and Kole Ellenbecker posted two hits and two RBIs for Hortonville. Colan Treml worked five innings on the mound to earn the win, not allowing an earned run. Chris Atwood worked three frames before Mason Thiel worked an inning.

Cam Seidl took the loss after pitching five innings, while Jack Eagan covered the other three frames.
