Dairyland Highlights (Aug. 25)

Waupaca 4

Pulaski 0

Waupaca took down Pulaski in a Dairyland League semifinal playoff game on Aug. 20 in Waupaca. The hosts outhit the visitors 10-1.

Davis Levine posted two hits and drove in three of Waupaca’s runs. Walker Smith and Brenden Canterbury tallied two hits each.

Cam Seidl was the winning pitcher, striking out 11 over eight innings. Jack Eagan struck out three batters in the ninth and stranded the bases loaded.

Hunter Larson tallied Pulaski’s lone hit. Drew McDermid took the loss on the hill, while Cody Pangrazzi also pitched.

Hortonville 7

Hofa Park 2

Hortonville eliminated Hofa Park after a semifinal playoff win on Aug. 20 in Hortonville.

Cam Kuhnke had two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored to lead Hortonville at the plate. Will Salaman drove in two runs on two hits and also walked twice. Ty Dreier had two hits and scored two runs.

Colan Treml was the winning pitcher after not allowing an earned run over five innings. Chris Atwood worked three innings before Mason Thiel worked the ninth.

Nick Volz tallied two hits and drove in a run for Hofa Park. Robert Schuettpelz took the loss on the hill, while Mike Delgado and Trevor Cornell also pitched.
