• Jason M. Bell, 48, Omro, was charged April 24 with three counts of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of battery and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge Katherine Sloma set a signature bond of $1,500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 25.

• Joshua J. Minniecheske, 40, Tigerton, was charged April 24 with one count of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Sloma set a signature bond of $3,000 and scheduled a status conference for May 17.

• Kristine A. Olson, 58, Shawano, was charged April 24 with one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of narcotic drugs and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a signature bond of $3,000 and scheduled a status conference for May 17.

• Alvis C. Winters, 37, Wausau, pleaded guilty April 25 to three counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. Two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Winters to 180 days in jail.

• Thomas J. Parker, 65, Wausau, pleaded guilty April 25 to one count of operating while intoxicated (fourth offense). One count of operating with prohibited alcohol content (fourth offense) was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge William Kussel Jr. sentenced Parker to nine months in jail.

• On April 25, Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge William Kussel Jr. modified a sentence for Ronald J. Kaufman, 48, an inmate at Fox Lake Correctional Institute in Redgranite. In 2009, Kaufman had been sentenced to nine years in prison and five years of extended supervision on a felony charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and three years in prison plus 18 months of extended supervision on another felony charge of attempting to disarm a peace officer, stemming from an incident that occurred in January 2008. Kussel modified Kaufman’s sentence on the attempting to disarm a peace officer charge and reduced it to two years in prison, followed by 18 months of extended supervision.

• Daniel J. Vasquez, 22, Waukesha, was charged April 26 with two counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of THC. Sloma set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a status conference for June 20.

• Falen M. West, 33, Gresham, pleaded no contest April 26 to two misdemeanor counts of theft of movable property, less than or equal to $2,500 and one misdemeanor count of credit card theft by acquisition. One count of theft of movable property, greater than $2,500-$5,000 and two misdemeanor counts of fraudulent use of a financial transaction card, less than or equal to $2,500, were dismissed but read into the record. Kussel sentenced West to 60 days in jail and two years of probation.

• Shawn V. Barnes, 41, Shawano, was charged April 27 with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one misdemeanor count of operating while revoked. Sloma set a cash bond of $250 and scheduled a status conference for May 16.

• Jeffrey A. Cloud, 32, Keshena, was charged April 27 with one count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Sloma set a cash bond of $300 and scheduled a status conference for May 22.

• Eduardo D. Gonzalez-Morales, 28, Birnamwood, was charged April 27 with one count of misappropriating identification information and one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. Sloma set a signature bond of $1,000 and scheduled a status conference for June 1.

• Allen Ortiz-Corporan, 52, Shawano, pleaded no contest April 27 to one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, one count of armed burglary with a dangerous weapon and one count of battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer. One count of aggravated battery, one count of false imprisonment, one misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property, one misdemeanor count of knowingly violating a domestic violence order and three misdemeanor counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Ortiz-Corporan to 20 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision.

• Destinee A. Long-Reed, 19, Shawano, was charged April 28 with two counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. Sloma set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 17.

• Logan A. Wudtke, 33, Cecil, was charged April 28 with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, 10 counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a cash bond of $6,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 5.
